January 2008 At The Reclamation Yard

Terry at the reclamation yard would like to tell all customers past present and future that he has not stopped or considered stopping his business; he has only expanded into another yard as well as his present site. The other stock holding yard is to store the rapidly increasing stock of oak beams, stone window and door sets, lintels quoins and building stone; this does not mean he has moved or is moving, you can still visit the yard you all know, although you will find that it has been revamped.

The door floor is now racked out with types of doors all sorted into their own specific areas, windows sorted by size and types etc and to help you spend your money more easily they have put in some decent lighting.

The top floor is now crammed with many more smaller items - another veritable aladdin's cave - and the ground floor showroom has been reorganized containing a much better range of quality furniture both old and new made using reclaimed timber. There is an area displaying samples of some of the services Terry is now able to offer, such as sandblasting, and a display of reclaimed radiators finished in a heat proof finish that is truly impressive. There is also a display of oak beams and boards which have been cleaned and waxed to display what can be done by Terry using traditional and dip & strip methods. The yard has always been a treasure trove but it is now a must for anybody that is renovating or considering buying a property that may need work or us who just likes anything old or looking for ideas or inspiration, or if you need something unusual.
