The reclamation yard now has English loose lump coal for sale. Just the thing to keep your woodburner in for the night or to add extra heat to your damp wood, or for those very cold nights when wood is not quite enough. Yes, it is seasonal, but not this season! It’s for those of us that plan in advance or need an immediate solution to not plan in advance.

 

 

January 2008

Terry at the reclamation yard would like to tell all customers past present and future that he has not stopped or considered stopping his business; he has only expanded into another yard as well as his present site. The other stock holding yard is to store the rapidly increasing stock of oak beams, stone window and door sets, lintels quoins and building stone; this does not mean he has moved or is moving, you can still visit the yard you all know, although you will find that it has been revamped.

June 2007

Terry Hutchinson has outgrown his current site and has acquired a second site nearby to accommodate his vast but constantly moving stocks of oak beams - some 8 metres long - Indian flooring and roof tiles - the sort you can no longer buy elsewhere.

At Terry’s reclamation yard he has a number of stone troughs, an Irish Swede drill, and a Rover 75 which he is preparing for sale. A massive covered area which is more like Aladdin’s cave.

Terry has a magnificent-looking horse drawn carriage in his showroom. ”Made in 1874 in Bellac and has been in the same family up to recent times” Terry told us. It is the sort of carriage used in the film My Fair Lady and would look the part in a chateau.
